| This sixth edition of Dutch Architects introduces a number of important innovations. This reference work has been expanded with offices that work on the larger scales: urban planners and landscape architects. Another innovation is the collaboration with architectenkeuze.nl, the select-an-architect website of ArchiNed. All architects represented in this book can be found on the site with their most recent projects, by one or more double page spreads. The book is an excellent way of gaining a first visual impression of the signature style of Dutch architects and what they have to offer, while the website architectenkeuze.nl, is a handy tool for selecting offices by objective criteria. A third innovation is the addition of an index of adresses of nearly every Dutch design office. This makes Dutch Architects not only the most comprehensive survey of recent Dutch architectural projects but also an excellent guide to the field of spatial design in the Netherlands- and that was something that had been seriously lacking - until now. |
